POLISH DJ CHAMPIONSHIP 2011

The battle for the title of best DJ of 2011 will be held on November 25, 2011 in Katowice, in the Pomarancza club. An estimated 10 thousand guests are expected to attend this all day and all night event, so a massive party will be in full swing when Poland seeks this year’s no.1 polish DJ.

Special jury guest will be Shaun Baker (DJ, producer from the UK – 3 no.1 Hits in Poland and many hits around the world have made Shaun Baker a household name in the DJ & Dance scene)



Contest will be held on one day only.
10.00 - 19.00 Qualifying
19.30 – Opening announcement
19.40 - Conference under the slogan "What can you do for the music industry and for yourself?"

The event will play host to the who’s who’s in the DJ, Club and Dance scene. Djs, Artists, Radio people, Club Managers alike will be descending on the Polish DJ Championship to party together and small talk on various facets of the DJ/Club/Music industry.

21.00 - Final

The new Championship rules and conditions as follows:
A limited number of 30 participants will be allowed to compete.
20 places to be allotted to professionals with CV, and 10 others on a come first served first basis.
The final will start with the an ex-Polish Champion and then followed by six finalists who will be given each 15 minute slots. Each of the 6 competitors will play one after the other and the winner of the elimination will start as the last competitor.

The results and scores will be screened on a large TV screen for all to see. The new championship formula. Limiting the elimination of up to 30 participants selected by the key: 20 seats by professional CV, by 10 places, first served basis.

It was great to see so much new talent, so many DJs battling it out for the title of the best of the best.
I was so happy to meet up again with so many old friends from the Club & Dance scene who came to support this important event.This is one of the dates which I will be marking in my calendar, I am already looking forward to the 2012 Championships, bring it on.
